Through Food & Beverage industry I've grasps a opportunity to work around the world managing restaurants. As many have like to travel around the world, I in the other hand enjoyed working in other countries.
Why? you get to stay there long enough to learn their culture and you get paid.
Born a Malaysian hometown Kuala Lumpur, i have learn a fact that growing up in Malaysia is a gift, while working is not. As a Chinese, i got the basics of Cantonese, easily picked up Mandarin, forced to learn Bahasa Malaysia at school, and with an English friendly environment, learning English is not hard at all thanks to hollywood movies and Enid Bylton's story books. :)
Then i went to Switzerland for the so called best Hotel Management Universities in the world. Found out that it is just like Malaysia due to its diverse culture. Switzerland is the heart of Europe connecting Germany, Italy and France. get what i mean? Chinese, Indians and Malays? see the connection?
